This is basically a software that allows you to create virtual albums out of all your digital photos. You can go through the album as if it was an actual album.

Installing FlipAlbum Standard is no problem even for beginners. That's because the installation process is straightforward and completes in no time. It supports all versions of the Microsoft Windows operating system, like XP or Windows 7.

When running the program for the first time, a sample album will be loaded, allowing the user to virtually turn its pages like a real album. This sample album has the purpose of making the user familiar with the program's features. One can easily create his own photo album from scratch using the step by step wizard. This wizard involves selecting the photo folder, an album background, the type of layout that should be used and that's it. The album will be created in no time. The user can also add background music to the album.

The program's interface features some graphical buttons for accessing its features and also the well known menu that includes numerous features. The menu seems a bit complicated at first sight.

Created albums can be saved as an .opt file, for reusing or modifying later. Besides that, albums can be exported to a CD, allowing anyone to view it, even without a computer, by inserting the disc into a regular CD/DVD player.

Cons:
The menu system seems a bit complicated and beginners might have trouble using it at first.
